We offer a blended programme of Cambridge University Curriculum and the requirements of the Indonesian Department of Education. Our curriculum ensures that students meet the required standards to two paths; the entry to Indonesian Middle School (SMP) or further progression to schools that cater to the Cambridge University ‘O’ Level / IGCSE Examinations. Therefore, we carefully select high quality text books not only from Indonesia and Singapore, but also from UK to ensure comparable compliance to international standards of education.
SUBJECT TAUGHT AND MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTIONS
Our Cambridge Curriculum subject include English, Science and Mathematics. As for the requirements of Ministry of Education, our national curriculum consists of Bahasa Indonesia, Social Studies, Character Building, Sports, Religious Studies, and Art. Besides that, we also have Computer and Chinese Language.
- Progression Test from Cambridge (Grade 3 – Grade 5)
Cambridge Primary Progression Tests provide valid internal assessment of knowledge, skills and understanding in English, Mathematics and Science. These tests are marked by our teachers with clear guidance, standards and mark schemes from Cambridge International Examinations. The purpose of this exam are to ensure these following :
- Enable learning outcome to be assessed each year.
- Provide detailed information about the performance of each learner for stages 3, 4, and 5.
- Enable teachers to give structured feedback to learners and parents.
- Enable teachers to compare strengths and weaknesses of individuals and groups.
- Indonesia National Examination (Grade 6)
National Exam (UN or UNAS) is a standard evaluation system of primary and secondary education in Indonesia that are conducted by The Department of Education. The subjects for primary are Bahasa Indonesia, Mathematics, and Science.
- Cambridge Primary School Check Point (Grade 6)
Cambridge Primary Checkpoint is designed to help students learn by providing comprehensive feedback on their strengths and weaknesses in the key curriculum areas – English, Mathematics and Science.The tests are exclusively available to schools that offer Cambridge Primary and generally conducted at the end of the final year of the programme. They are marked by Cambridge International Examinations using an international benchmark for learner’s performance. At the end, each learner receives a statement of achievement and a diagnostic feedback report.
INTEGRATED LEARNING PROGRAMME & FIELD TRIP
Integrated Learning Programme (ILP) is a thematic learning, conducted in Bahasa Indonesia. ILP is based on a series of 8 monthly projects and assessed by rubic. Subjects included in ILP are Bahasa Indonesia, Social Studies, Character Building, Art & Craft and Music. Field Trip is to help students interact with what they are learning and provide learning opportunity for students to see and participate beyond reading.
